In the electrifying Rocket category, the spotlight shone on the dynamic duo from Metropolitan University, Pritom Paul and Jarin Alam, both outstanding students of the Computer Science and Engineering Department. They embarked on a celestial odyssey and emerged as the undisputed champions. Their team, aptly named “Bongodorshon,” proved to be the North Star of the competition, guiding the way to victory.
Securing the prestigious second place was the ingenious “N2O” team from the Software Engineering Department, led by the razor-sharp Nafiza Islam Nourin, whose display of remarkable skill and innovation left the audience in awe.
Not to be outshone, the third position was gracefully clinched by the star-studded “Action Astrology” team, composed of Urmila Majumdar, Shamsun Nahar Jisha, and Junaed Sarkar Sawon, all distinguished members of the Computer Science and Engineering Department. Their celestial prowess shone as brightly as the constellations above.
Meanwhile, the fourth-place laurels were gallantly earned by the indomitable Srimoti Prithila Rani Das and her crew, collectively known as “Astro Pioneer.” They exhibited unwavering dedication to exploring the cosmic frontiers and left an indelible mark on the competition.
In a performance that left spectators spellbound, the fiery “Phoenix” trio, featuring Nur A Jannat Shuchi, Khatun A Jannat Shashy, and Abid Shahriar, soared to the sixth position, igniting the sky with their explosive display of skill and determination.
Adding to the celestial spectacle, two other remarkable teams, “Andromeda,” guided by the visionary trio of Sadia Ahmed, Dewan Eram Hasan and Tawfiq Ahmed Joy, and “Meteoric Marvels,” captained by the illustrious Joyant Sheikhar Gupta Joy, Sultan Al Islam, and the enigmatic Shraboni Majumdar Borsha, exhibited their astronomical prowess in the Astro Olympiad.
